Store your
pearls separately from the rest of your jewelry. Other pieces of jewelry can
scratch pearl's delicate surface. Wrap them in a soft cloth or a soft lined
pouch. Dryness will cause your pearls to crack, so never store them in an
airtight box or plastic bag.
Put on
your pearls after dressing. Hairspray, perfume and cosmetics can stain pearls.
Remove your pearls before anything
else when you are undressing.
Polish your pearls with a soft lint-free cloth when you are done wearing them. Perspiration and your body's natural oils can dull the finish.
WIPE PEARLS AFTER WEAR, using a soft cloth. Avoid commercial jewellery cleaners
Tips & Warnings
- Lemon juice and vinegar will damage your pearls. Never
use them to clean your pearl jewelry.
- Do not apply lotions, creams or cosmetics while you are
wearing pearls. Take them off and put them in a safe place, apply the
cosmetics, wash your hands, then put on your pearls.
